Pros: Pleasant Aftertaste, Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Roast, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Smooth Taste

Sorry I don't have a lot of bold adjectives to describe this coffee. All I know is it tastes great. It's not too dark - some of the nuttiness of the bean comes through and you can taste a hint of chocolate. And yes you can taste that it is a dark roast - I think that is the whole point of it. If you want subtle flavors go with a medium roast.
